Summits and Self Esteem

What’s your summit?

When most people think of a summit, standing on the top of a large mountain peak comes to mind. For many people, this sounds daunting. I like to think of a summit in a more symbolic term. If we think about a mountain peak, it can represent the completion of an uphill journey. In that regard, it can represent an obstacle that you are trying to overcome, or a big dream that you have been unsure of chasing.

You don’t have to climb Everest to …

Whatever your summit is, … confidence and self esteem…

Personally, I chase summits because they symbolize overcoming obstacles in my life. They have shown me that as long as I keep moving forward, one small step in front of the other, that I will eventually get to my destination. They have shown me that I am capable of what I put my mind, body and soul into. They have shown me that I am more powerful than I ever gave myself credit for.

I have partnered with … to raise awareness and money for … mental health, childhood disease, treatment and community…

When I was 12, I underwent spinal fusion surgery. It changed my life, .. my surgeon told me that there was “nothing I couldn’t do,” and for a long time I didn’t believe it. It wasn’t until I decided to make some changes in my life that I found out the the only thing holding me back was myself.

Follow my journey, events and fundraisers to help create communities and spread confidence… Together, we can reach our summits, and inspire each other to live their wildest dreams.
